Registration is officially open for @Scale 2019. @Scale is an invitation-only technical conference for engineers who build or maintain large-scale systems. This year’s event will be held at the San Jose Convention Center on October 16.
This year, speakers from Confluent, Google, Lyft, Microsoft, and NVIDIA will discuss how they’ve addressed some of the challenges that come with building and maintaining systems for scale. Attendees can participate in four different tracks: AI, Data Infra, Privacy, and Security. The scale system demonstration area is also back for a fourth year so engineers can interact with the latest tech.
Topics for the @Scale 2019 talks include cloud native platforms for event streaming, advances in self-supervised learning and natural language processing, securing SSH traffic, deploying DNS privacy technologies at scale, and more. Visit the @Scale website for the full agenda.
To register for @Scale 2019, enter your invite code here. Haven’t received a registration code yet? That’s OK! Visit the @Scale Community page and message us with your name, company name, and email address.
If you’ve never been to an @Scale event, you can watch David Patterson of Google and Clément Farabet of NVIDIA open last year’s event, or see videos of all the talks in last year’s recap.
About @Scale
Building applications and services that scale to millions or even billions of people presents a complex set of engineering challenges, many of them unprecedented. The @Scale community is focused on bringing people together to openly discuss these challenges and collaborate on the development of new solutions.
