Today we announced that the location of our next U.S. data center will be Fort Worth, Texas. It will be our fifth data center, and we’ve already broken ground on the site. When it’s finished, the Fort Worth facility will be one of the most advanced data centers in the world, featuring the latest in Open Compute server, storage, and network designs.

Data centers are a central part of Facebook’s global infrastructure, making it possible to deliver our family of apps and services to billions of people.
